I installed Silverlight the day it was announced, but only now have I found some good places to try it out.

It will be interesting to see how this compares to flash in putting videos on the church site.
Don’t do it. As usual, Microsoft is locking out all the alternative OS’s and devices (except Mac, oddly enough). If you want to exclude a lot of people go for it. I certainly won’t be viewing videos on your site until there’s a Linux runtime.
The Mono project (.Net on Linux) is creating Moonlight to bring Silverlight onto Linux.
I still don’t like requiring Flash 9 for viewing on the church site. Most everything does well with Flash 7. I figure that Silverlight won’t even be a real consideration for at least 2 years.
