Maybe someone out there knows about whether Microsoft offers something like this.
Our Windows XP install CD is from August 10, 2004. That means it is really out of date.
Does Microsoft offer newer CDs on occasion with the added patches? Ours does have SP2, but that was 2 years ago.

I have slipstreamed custom XP installs for years to add all the updated patches and drivers. Here is the site I use as my main reference for doing slipstreaming and unnatended installs.

There is also a nice free tool call nLite that automates this process. You find it here.

Microsoft does not update their install media.
Just my experience. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
THanks,
I am digging through the info now.
I also found this article on slip-streaming.
Yes… just call you open licenseing rep and they can sell ya the whole pack of like 5 cds (xp pro, xp pro for 64 bit, xp pro for tablet.. etc) for like $30.00
