And “they” say Creationism is faith based . . .

I don’t have enough blind faith in me to ever think that these people know what they are talking about.

I’ll have to disagree with ya Bob. As a Christ-Follower with degrees in Physics I think this is some amazing research. We shouldn’t dismiss scientific research so easily :-)
Science is not out to disprove God or the Bible. There are a lot of Christian researchers out on the bleeding edge of science trying to make sense of their findings and how it points to the Creator.
We need to engage and wrestle with research findings like this even when it appears to possibly contradict our beliefs.

    Geeks for Jesus,
    Jason

I should have clarified it a bit. Most people haven’t been listening to the conversations in my head (everyone else, you know who you are).

By “these people” I meant the people specifically in the article above. It was not a judgment on all physicists, secularists, or evolutionists. I am just doubting their conclusions.

I believe in the falibility (mispelled to prove my point) of humans.
I believe also that people are more likely to see what they really want to see.
I believe that it is impossible to piece together historical events properly without an honest account from a sentient being or a proper and understandable recording device.

Perhaps it has not all been properly explained to me (and although I read about it a lot I doubt that counts), but I cannot see how you can determine the first fractional seconds of the big bang based upon electromagnetic noise.

It is like walking into the living room and seeing the floor covered with toys. I quickly study it and determine the order in which my daughter dragged them from her toy chest.
I must assume that the toys were played with in an orderly manner and not rearranged at some point, and I must assume that my daughter did it. Both are assumptions I cannot prove.
